FSC Reinstates Skal Chain of Custody Accreditation

On May 9, 2001, FSC reinstated the ability to issue new FSC chain of custody certificates to Skal, a certification body accredited by FSC. The reinstatement followed initiation of a full revision of Skal's accredited system and an intensive training session in April by FSC's Regional Coordinator for Europe and Africa. At the end of March, FSC had announced that it was temporarily suspending the ability to issue new FSC certificates. In little over a month, FSC is pleased to announce that the suspension of chain of custody certification has been removed.
